Fennel is also particularly rich in anti-oxidants like Vitamin C and Arginine along with trace minerals like cobalt. It is beneficial in premature aging and useful in Eye disorders like Cataract. The extract can also be applied to the eyes externally to relieve fatigue and irritation. Fennel has mildly diuretic action and helps to relieve burning during urination.
