Chapter 1 - In the Mood for Love

Mimi tossed her long black hair over her shoulder.    She grabbed Frankie and gave him a crushing hug.  "I'm going to miss you," she said.   Frankie hugged her back.  "I'm going to miss you too," he said.  "When I get back, I'm going to be in the mood for love."    Mimi giggled.  She had all the time in the world  for Frankie.  They had been together for a year now and they just couldn't get enough of each other.

Mimi watched Frankie walk away to the plane departure.  Frankie's work took him away travelling quite often.  He was short and stocky with messy, light brown hair.  Mimi was tall and beautiful with long black hair, oval eyes and long legs that stretched to her waist.  An oddball couple that did not look like they belonged together, however, it was a match made in heaven.  All Mimi wanted was the dream picket fence, the proposal, the kids, the dog, the house, etc.  One day, she knew it would happen.

"Mmmm, in the mood for love." Mimi thought long and hard about Frankie and what she would do to make him feel special after his long week away working.  "I'll fill the house with flowers and make it smell beautiful.  I'll get some expensive wine and some beautiful glasses.   I'll cook him his favorite dinner."  "No," she thought.  Mimi wanted something different.  "I'll just have to go shopping," she said to herself.

Once home, Mimi turned the computer on and went to her favorite website store.  The website had a little bit of everything and some very unique products.  Searching she found exactly what she wanted. "This looks interesting," Mimi thought, "a modern day dispenser for fragrant oil."  Mimi kept reading.

This is exactly what Mimi needed to make her room smell beautiful and set a romantic mood.  The fragrant oil is drawn up into a rope and absorbed throughout the plaster sculpture.  The scent is then dispersed throughout the air where the effect is a gentle background fragrance which can set the mood of the room.   There is no fire hazard as there is no need for electricity or a flame.  "Wow, safe as well as beautiful," thought Mimi.  The plaster flower or plaster bird sit in a ceramic or glass vase which holds the fragrant oil.  The ceramic dispensers work along the same principle as the reed based dispensers that are widely available everywhere today.   How unique is that! 

Frankie arrived home later that week.  As soon as he opened the front door, this beautiful scent greeted him.  "The house must be filled with flowers," he thought.   Frankie walked from room to room and noticed these little plaster flowers and birds everywhere in the house emitting this beautiful scent.   Finally reaching the bedroom, Frankie found Mimi.

"What's with all the ceramic flowers?" Frankie asked.  Mimi told Frankie her search for something romantic.   The only thing is, the ceramic dispensers were all so nice, Mimi didn't know which one to order, so she bought one for every room.

Needless to say, they were both in the mood for love.
